Flower Crown Workshop

June 14, 2026

Celebrate the beauty of the season with a morning of flowers, creativity, and time on the farm.

In this workshop, you’ll learn to create ethereal flower crowns crafted from wild-harvested blooms and special early-summer farm flowers. Brooke of Leavenworth Flowers will offer step-by-step guidance as you create a special design to take home.
Whether you’re interested in growing your floral design skills, hoping to recreate a flower crown for an upcoming party, or simply want to revel in the beauty of fresh, seasonal flowers, this workshop will offer creative fun for all skill levels.

What to Expect

In-Depth Tutorial

The workshop will begin with a demonstration from Brooke, who will share the professional tips and tricks she has learned through her experience crafting flower crowns for weddings. Brooke will explain which materials are needed, offer advice on flower variety selection, and provide recommendations for keeping your flower crowns fresh and vibrant, walking through the mechanics of flower crown design so that you will feel confident crafting your own creation in the workshop and beyond.

Your Own Handmade Crown

Following the demo, you’ll have time to explore how to combine the shapes and textures together as you make your own crown to take home. Brooke will bring foraged wildflowers and romantic early summer blooms harvested from her farm on the Chumstick in Leavenworth. Imagine fragrant mock orange, whimsical honeysuckle, charming yarrow and other seasonal flowers. All materials — including the wire frame, floral tape, snips, and ribbons — will be provided.

Seasonal Farm Lunch

With your completed crown, we look forward to welcoming you to the table for a farm-driven al fresco lunch. We’ll be serving two courses: first, a vibrant late spring salad with farm greens, a duo of peas, sheep milk feta, organic pasture-raised chicken, and shaved radish, tossed in a lemon vinaigrette with sourdough bread and whipped garlic-herb butter to accompany. Lunch will be followed by strawberry shortcake with vanilla whipped cream and edible flowers — the perfect seasonal meal to celebrate our time together.

All dietary needs will be gladly accommodated.
