Fire Cider Workshop

$54.20

Join Tanya Cram of Riverside Apothecary for a Fire Cider workshop at CAMPO Farm and Kitchen!

You’ll be welcomed with a warm cup of tea brewed from medicinal herbs grown at CAMPO as you explore early fall on the farm. We’ll then gather as a group and Tanya will share the rich history of fire cider and its benefits, as well as offer creative ways to weave this medicinal tonic into everyday meals. Katie will then lead a walk through the fields to explore the plants that give fire cider its kick, with tips on growing and harvesting these powerful ingredients at home. After the farm visit, you’ll roll up your sleeves and craft your own personalized blend, using freshly-harvested ingredients alongside a variety of other additions.

Seasonal snacks to accompany the cider tasting and making will be provided. Please bring a knife and cutting board from home to use for creating your fire cider.

Each guest will head home with:

  • A 16 oz jar of your own handcrafted fire cider

  • A recipe framework to guide future blends at home

  • An informational handout with ideas for incorporating this vibrant tonic into your daily habits.

Date
